ITSAREA LTD is Cyber Essentials certified. Cyber Essentials is a UK government-backed scheme that sets out baseline technical controls for protecting against common online threats.

2. How we protect data
Area is a construction intelligence platform. We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data we process, including:
- Access control — authentication for product access, organisation and scheme-level permissions, and restricted administrative access to operational systems.
- Hosting and security providers — we use established providers (including Vercel, Cloudflare and Convex) to deliver and secure the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Encryption in transit — connections to our websites and applications use HTTPS.
- Least privilege — access to production data and tooling is limited to people who need it for their role.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. We review controls as the product and threat landscape evolve.
3. Report a vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security issue in our websites or services, please report it responsibly to [email protected]. Include enough detail for us to investigate and avoid public disclosure until we have had a reasonable opportunity to respond.
